He previously worked at A24 Films and Amber Television, heading up their documentary slate.
“We learned that the rights were set to expire from the hands of an A-list director who has five Oscar nominations,” Peltz explained. “We quietly waited in the wings for months to option the material as soon as the rights became available.”
I knew he was talented then, and I’d read his book a while ago. I asked my trusted partner Max Peltz to read it, as the Koch brothers were on my mind again and again. Max was absolutely floored.” “This is the most definitive story of a true American dynasty, and with so many potent political issues at the forefront, it is as relevant today as ever before,” said Morse, adding “I worked with Daniel Schulman over a decade ago at Mother Jones magazine.

‘Chrisley Knows Best’ Star Says USA Reality Series Moving Forward Despite Legal, Family Issues

Chrisley shared an image to his Instagram account of a quote by televangelist Robert H. Schuller: "Tough times never last, but tough people do." He blamed a former employee for any legal troubles.
https://www.instagram.com/p/B1FBsnfn_4q/” />
Despite the drama, the eighth season will move forward, Todd Chrisley said.
The quote may be a veiled reference to his daughter, Lindsie , who has claimed her father was threatening to leak her alleged sex tape reportedly involving Bachelor contestant Robby Hayes unless she assisted him in covering up his tax evasion problems.
"We are getting back to work after this distraction and our show hasn’t been cancelled," he said.
"Trust and believe that we are holding the right hand of God on this walk we are on, if he brings us to it he will bring us through it,' Chrisley said. "Please don’t fall victim to false prophets , don’t give attention to the attention seekers, stay steady on your course , grieve the loss of ones you love that didn’t love you, pray for them even though they have wronged you , forgive them for yourself and ask God to move them on."
The Chrisleys are innocent of all charges." Chrisley legal representatives have denied the allegations, claiming they are based on "complete falsehoods. The Chrisleys and their accountant have reportedly been charged in Georgia's Northern District with conspiracy to commit bank and wire fraud, wire fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States and tax evasion.
Reality star Todd Chrisley has fired back on social media concerning a pending indictment for financial crimes and trouble within his family. He also said his USA Networks show would go on despite the swirling drama.
Todd and Julie Chrisley, the stars of USA Network's Chrisley Knows Best, were federally indicted on Wednesday on conspiracy, bank fraud, wire fraud and tax evasion charges. Todd Chrisley, a multi-millionaire real estate mogul, was was reportedly investigated in 2017 for allegations of tax evasion and legal residency in Georgia, despite the family living in Florida.

‘Chrisley Knows Best’ Stars Indicted On Federal Tax-Evasion And Fraud Charges; Attorneys Decry “Demonstrably False Allegations” – Update

The Justice Department said the Chrisleys' accountant, Peter Tarantino, also has been indicted on tax-related offenses.
Here are the Justice Department's details of the case, which is being investigated by the FBI and the Internal Revenue Service's Criminal Investigation:
Morris and Stephen Friedberg issued this statement Tuesday: “The allegations contained in the indictment are based on complete falsehoods. The Chrisleys are innocent of all charges.” The Chrisleys' attorneys Bruce H.
Morris and Friedberg followed up with a lengthier statement Wednesday:
From at least as early as 2007 through approximately 2012, Todd and Julie Chrisley allegedly conspired to defraud numerous banks by providing the banks with false information such as personal financial statements containing false information, and fabricated bank statements when applying for and receiving millions of dollars in loans.
Todd Chrisley addressed the charges today in an Instagram post, in which he blames a former employee of the couple for the indictments:
The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Georgia said today: "From at least as early as 2007 through approximately 2012, Todd and Julie Chrisley allegedly conspired to defraud numerous banks by providing the banks with false information such as personal financial statements containing false information, and fabricated bank statements when applying for and receiving millions of dollars in loans."
After fraudulently obtaining these loans, the Chrisleys allegedly used much of the proceeds for their own personal benefit. In 2014, two years after the alleged bank fraud scheme ended, Todd and Julie Chrisley allegedly used fabricated bank statements and a fabricated credit report that had been physically cut and taped or glued together when applying for and obtaining a lease for a home in California.
USA Network had no comment when reached by Deadline.

Read more details of the indictment below.
But in the meantime, their reputation will be sullied by a shamefully unjustified prosecution based on testimony of a dishonest source who has somehow managed to successfully mislead prosecutors. We have no doubt that if this case ever reaches a courtroom, Todd and Julie will be completely exonerated. Now, seven years later, the government has granted this individual immunity from prosecution for his own crimes and used his false allegations to bring an indictment against the Chrisley.
The DOJ added, "Todd and Julie Chrisley allegedly did not timely file income tax returns for the 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 tax years or timely pay federal income taxes for any of those years.'
USA has renewed the series for Season 7, which is set to premiere in October. None of Todd and Julie Chrisley’s children is named in the indictment. The show also has spawned Growing Up Chrisley, a spinoff featuring the couple's adult children Chase and Savannah Chrisley that premiered its second season last week. Chrisley Knows Best follows the lives self-made multimillionaire Georgia real estate investor Todd Chrisley, his wife Julie and their children.
“Celebrities face the same justice that everyone does. These are serious federal charges, and they will have their day in court.” Attorney Byung J. “Todd and Julie Chrisley are charged not only with defrauding a number of banks by fraudulently obtaining millions of dollars in loans but also with allegedly cheating taxpayers by actively evading paying federal taxes on the money they earned,” According to U.S. “BJay” Pak, said today.
UPDATED with new statement by Chrisleys' attorneys, 1:13 PM: A grand jury in Atlanta has indicted Chrisley Knows Best stars Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley on federal tax-evasion charges. Prosecutors said the husband and wife featured on USA Network's flagship reality series face multiple counts of conspiracy, bank fraud, wire fraud and tax evasion.
Attorney’s office. These and many other criminal misdeeds were detailed in a federal RICO suit that the Chrisleys filed against him in 2012. He wasn’t looking for justice but for revenge and his “evidence” against Todd consisted mainly of falsified documents. What the authorities didn’t know, at least initially, was that he had been fired by the Chrisleys after they discovered he had been falsifying documents, forging their signatures, bugging their home, and intimidating other employees into covering up what amounted to a multi-million-dollar embezzlement scheme. Ironically, it was this lawsuit that sent him to the U.S. This individual, identified in the indictment only as “Co-conspirator A,” first approached federal authorities in 2012, claiming he had evidence that Todd had been trying to avoid paying his taxes.
Instead, the Chrisleys and Tarantino allegedly took steps to obstruct IRS collection efforts, which included hiding income, lying to third parties about their tax returns, and – in Tarantino’s case – lying to FBI and IRS-CI Special Agents.” />
Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia has been conducting an investigation of Todd and Julie Chrisley based for the most part on the demonstrably false allegations of a former officer of a company they owned jointly. We saw the results of this effort yesterday—an indictment against Todd, Julie, and their accountant that relies largely if not entirely on emails that we know Todd never sent but rather were fabricated by this former employee. For quite some time now, the U.S.
Todd Chrisley, 51, and Julie Chrisley, 46, both of Nashville, Tennessee are also charged with conspiring with their Roswell, Georgia-based accountant, Peter Tarantino, 56, of Milton, Georgia to defraud the Internal Revenue Service.
In February 2017, Todd Chrisley publicly claimed on a national radio program “obviously the federal government likes my tax returns because I pay 750,000 to 1 million dollars just about every year so the federal government doesn’t have a problem with my taxes.” However, Todd and Julie Chrisley allegedly did not timely file income tax returns for the 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 tax years or timely pay federal income taxes for any of those years.

Tiffany Haddish Cancels Atlanta Show Over Georgia Abortion Policy

Abrams and Jordan Peele have been filming Lovecraft Country in Georgia, but have announced that they will donate profits to fight the heartbeat law. J.J. In addition to Haddish, WarnerMedia, Netflix and Walt Disney, who all have productions in Georgia, have come forward saying that they will reconsider filming in Georgia because of the new policy.
The Fox Theatre said that they will be offering refunds. Actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish is the latest celebrity to take a stand against Georgia's new restrictive abortion policy which known as the "heartbeat" bill. Haddish canceled an upcoming stand-up show a the Fox Theatre in Atlanta in response to the law.
Governors in Ohio, Kentucky, Louisiana and Mississippi have also signed similar versions of this bill earlier this year. 1, women would be banned from getting an abortion if fetal cardiac activity is detected — which happens within six weeks of a pregnancy. Brian Kemp, which is expected to go into effect on Jan. Under the new law signed into law by Gov. The bill says a women can receive an abortion if the pregnancy is "medically futile." Other exceptions to the law include women whose lives are at risk as well as cases where a police report related to rape or incest in involved.
I love the state of Georgia, but I need to stand with women and until they withdraw Measure HB481, I cannot in good faith perform there." According to CNN, Haddish released a statement released to ticketholders saying: "After much deliberation, I am postponing my upcoming show in Atlanta.

Amazon’s ‘The Power’ And Kristen Wiig Comedy Withdraw From Georgia Over Abortion Law

Neither Lionsgate nor Amazon responded to Deadline's requests for comment.” />
The adaptation of Naomi Alderman's book, announced earlier this year, pairs Broadchurch producer Jane Featherstone and The Handmaid's Tale director/executive producer Reed Morano. After word of the withdrawal surfaced Tuesday, Morano retweeted several approving reactions. The Power also opted out of filming its 10 episodes in Georgia, abandoning a recent scouting effort in the state.
Time had the first report of the withdrawals.
A Lionsgate film reuniting the Bridesmaids duo of Kristen Wiiig and Annie Mumolo and Amazon Prime series The Power have withdrawn from planned shoots in Georgia.
Produced by Gloria Sanchez Productions and directed by Josh Greenbaum, the film centers on best friends who leave their Midwestern town for a vacation in Florida. The pullout of Barb and Star Go to Vista del Mar, co-written by Wiig and Mumolo (who also co-wrote Bridesmaids),  was confirmed to Deadline by a source close to the production.
The state, which has become a hotbed of film and TV production in recent years, is also in the vanguard of states passing aggressive new proposals to ban abortion in all but a fraction of cases.
Film and TV production, thanks to an attractive 30% tax incentive, has boomed in the Peach State of late, with state officials reporting 455 productions in fiscal 2019 and more than $2 billion in economic impact. Supreme Court's Roe v. Several Hollywood notables have been speaking out about working in the state. Wade decision by passing aggressive anti-abortion laws. Georgia is among several states with Republican-controlled governments challenging abortion rights long protected by the U.S. Even those not heading there for work, like Saturday Night Live's Leslie Jones, have made it a topic.
Brian Kemp last weekend dismissed the backlash as a "squawk" from "C-list celebrities." The "heartbeat" law will take effect on January 1, barring an effective legal challenge. A range of entertainment figures have been speaking out against the state's move, but Gov.

‘Juno’ Screenwriter Diablo Cody Dismayed At The Academy Award-Winning Film’s Interpretation

“I think I probably would have just told a different story in general,” Cody said. “I wasn‘t thinking as an activist; I wasn’t thinking politically at all.”
Jason Reitman, the film's director, also has complained that the film is being embraced by the pro-life movement.
Juno came out in 2007 and tells about a pregnant teenager who gives up her baby for adoption rather than choosing abortion. podcast, Cody said the pro-life legislation in Alabama and Georgia would have influenced her writing choices. Speaking on the Crooked Media Keep It! The film was a smash that went on to gross more than $143 million at the box offie.
“I don’t even know if I would have written a movie like Juno if I had known that the world was going to spiral into this hellish alternate reality that we now seem to be stuck in,” Cody said.
Screenwriter Diablo Cody says her Oscar-winning script for Juno probably would not have been written in today's political climate.
Cody feels that the 2007 film's message is being distorted to suit certain agendas, and said she is "as pro-choice as a person could possibly be."
Podcast host Kara Brown asked Cody if the film's teenager, played by Ellen Page, would have chosen a different path if the story were written today.

Kevin Abstract – Georgia Lyrics

Play this song
[Chorus]
I got Georgia on my mind, ain’t nobody left behind
It’s just me, my team, my weed, my baby’s Audi parked outside
Call my mom and let her know that everything is alright
I got Georgia on my mind, ain’t nobody left behind
It’s just me, my team, my weed, my baby’s Audi parked outside
Call my mom and let her know that everything is alright
[Verse 1]
Houston, Texas, my teachers had weapons
I’d get my ass whipped, I learned my lesson
I often question, I often wonder
If I told this class I liked the nigga that sit in the back
How bad would it make me suffer? Agh
Smoke and fuck, we high as hell
We gon’ love each other, we let the night derail
Only time will tell, I’m under your spell
I lay on your chest, you wonder what’s next
I love when you breathe, it make me reflect
(Everything you do is cool)
[Verse 2]
All of us in Jon’s car
Packed the trunk with merch, I was tryna be a star
Same time I was cool with Uzi, dawg, my life felt like a movie
I left my troubled home, Hollywood, what the fuck am I doing? I finally found peace, I suck when I get it
I see worth in myself, I won’t run away again
I’m prayin’ for my friends, they prayin’ this won’t end
But I know it does, just like all things
In the end, it’s just me and my mood swings
[Bridge]
And the one-nine-nine (And the one-nine-nine-nine is comin’)
Is comin’, is comin’
And that one-nine-nine, boy (And the one-nine-nine-nine)
One-nine-nine is comin’, is comin’
(You know that it’s comin’)
[Chorus]
I got Georgia on my mind, ain’t nobody left behind
It’s just me, my team, my weed, my baby’s Audi parked outside
Call my mom and let her know that everything is alright
(Everything you do is cool)
I got Georgia on my mind, ain’t nobody left behind
It’s just me, my team, my weed, my baby’s Audi parked outside
Call my mom and let her know that everything is alright
(Everything you do is cool)
I got Georgia on my mind, ain’t nobody left behind
It’s just me, my team, my weed, my baby’s Audi parked outside
Call my mom and let her know that everything is alright
(Everything you do is cool)
[Outro]
My troubled home, Hollywood, what the fuck am I doing? Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
My troubled home, Hollywood, what the fuck am I doing?

Maggie Rogers – Tim McGraw Lyrics

[Intro]
I hope you think of me
I hope you think of me
I hope you think of me
I hope you think of me
[Verse 1]
He said the way my blue eyes shined
Put those Georgia stars to shame that night
I said, “That’s a lie”
Just a boy in a Chevy truck
That had a tendency of gettin’ stuck
On backroads at night
And I was right there beside him all summer long
And then the time we woke up to find that summer gone
[Chorus]
But when you think Tim McGraw
I hope you think my favorite song
The one we danced to all night long
The moon like a spotlight on the lake
When you think happiness
I hope you think that little black dress
Think of my head on your chest
And my old faded blue jeans
When you think Tim McGraw
Hope you think of me
I hope you think of me
I hope you think of me
I hope you think of me
[Verse 2]
September saw a month of tears
And thankin’ God that you weren’t here
To see me like that
But in a box beneath my bed
Is a letter that you never read
From three summers back
It’s hard not to find it all a little bittersweet
And lookin’ back on all of that, it’s nice to believe
[Chorus]
When you think Tim McGraw
I hope you think my favorite song
The one we danced to all night long
The moon like a spotlight on the lake
When you think happiness
I hope you think that little black dress
Think of my head on your chest
And my old faded blue jeans
When you think Tim McGraw
Hope you think of me
I hope you think of me
Won’t you think of me
I hope you think of me
[Bridge]
And I’m back for the first time since then
I’m standin’ on your street
And there’s a letter left on your doorstep
And the first thing that you’ll read is:
“When you think Tim McGraw
Hope you think my favorite song
Someday you’ll turn your radio on
I hope it takes you back to that place”
[Chorus]
When you think happiness
Hope you think that little black dress
Think of my head on your chest
And my old faded blue jeans
When you think Tim McGraw
Hope you think of me
I hope you think of me
I hope you think of me
Won’t you think of me
I hope you think of me
When you think Tim McGraw
I hope you think of me
I hope you think of me
You think of me
[Outro]
He said the way my blue eyes shine
Put those Georgia stars to shame that night
I said, “That’s a lie”

Florida Will Start Recounting Three Key Election Races – Arizona, Georgia Still Pondering Actions

The Senate race and the contest for agriculture commissioner both currently both fall within .25%.” />
Bill Nelson by more than 12,500 votes, or about .15%. Rick Scott leading incumbent Democratic Sen. The Florida secretary of state announced the recount today. The unofficial results have Republican Gov.
The recounts will be done by machine and must be completed by 3 PM on Thursday. If the races are still within .25%, then a hand recount will take place.
Florida has decided to move forward on a recount of its tight races for governor, senator and agriculture commissioner. Meanwhile, Arizona and Georgia are also contemplating recounts for their extremely tight gubernatorial and senate races.
The agriculture commissioner – a key post in the state – saw Nikki Fried's advantage stands at 5,326 votes over Republican Matt Caldwell. Ron DeSantis is ahead of Democrat Andrew Gillum by nearly 34,000 votes, for a lead of .41%. In Florida's governor race, Republican former Rep.
The stakes are high for each state, as a final determination will decide whether the Republicans have a comfortable edge in the Senate, or a narrow majority. The Florida and Georgia elections in particular drew heavy celebrity interest and fundraising. Democrat governors in the affected states would also have an outsize influence on the presidential race in 2020.

Oprah Stumps For Stacey Abrams In Georgia, Ignores Mike Pence’s “This Ain’t Hollywood” Nattering Nearby

Oprah Winfrey hit Georgia on Thursday to campaign for Stacey Abrams, a longtime Democratic state lawmaker hoping to become the first black female governor in American history.
Among that "onslaught," Winfrey blasted Republican ads she'd seen in her hotel room casting Abrams as too radical for the state, calling it "noise…designed to confound you with fear.”
"I’ve got a message for all of Stacey Abrams’ liberal Hollywood friends: This ain’t Hollywood," Pence said.
Staunch conservative Kemp, who embraces Trump's hard-line on immigration, brandishes a gun in his campaign ads, blasts Abrams as a tool of “socialists” and "Hollywood elites" who “want to turn Georgia into California.”
"I was sitting at home in California, minding my own business, but I could not stop hearing about what's going on down here," Winfrey said, charming the crowd that had gathered to see her.
"You are on the precipice of an historical election," she said, assuring them, "Nobody paid for me to come here; nobody even asked me to come here. I paid for myself and I approve this message."
Interesting position, because local Republicans have, from time to time, touting a tax credit that has turned Georgia into a film-making force; the industry contributed an estimated $2.7 billion in direct spending in Georgia last year, according to a report in the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
Winfrey did not mention Pence who, in appearances same day, charged Abrams with being “bankrolled by Hollywood liberals” and derided Winfrey’s presence as well as a recent campaign appearance for Abrams by Will Ferrell.
speech:” />
Oprah preemptively scolded the crowd of reporters witnessing her Georgia performance against making any speculation her appearance was in service of a run for the White House  in 2020.
Oprah's speech:
She decided to lend her celebrity, she said, after watching how Abrams "handles" herself "in the midst of the onslaught of hate and vitriol."
Abrams is running on a campaign that includes Medicaid expansion, and "common-sense gun control," Winfrey noted.
And, if Kemp has his way, a so-called "religious liberty" bill will pass into law which could dry up Georgia's "Hollywood" money.
As Winfrey stumped for Abrams in the state, Veep Mike Pence was nearby to deliver some of his very best insults to the talk-show host billionaire on behalf of Abrams' political opponent, Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp.
"You keep standing strong for the values that matter to me, and the values that matter to Georgians all over this state," she added.
I’m not testing the waters,” Winfrey said. “I’m not here because I’m making some grandstand for myself. I don’t want to run.
And Brian Kemp is going to do just that.” And Georgia wants a governor that’s going to put Georgia values and Georgia first. "This is Georgia.
“I’d like to remind Stacey, and Oprah, and Will Ferrell, I’m kind of a big deal, too,” simpered Pence, former TV talk show host and current Donald Trump yes-man.
“Democracy is not just about our individual rights and concerns and our individual protections. Rather it lives and thrives in making sure that everybody is lifted by the community,” Winfrey said.

Fate Of Florida’s Decimated Film Industry Might Hang On Governor’s Race

“I’m a huge supporter of reintroducing and bringing back the tax credits into the state of Florida,” he said in a recent video (watch it below). “I think our Legislature was shortsighted when they cut this tax-incentive program. And I agree, like Sen. Annette Taddeo, that we ought to bring it back, right here to the state of Florida. Bring back the contract economy where people can make good wages, do good work, produce great products and showcase the beauty and the attractiveness of the state of Florida all across the globe.” Gillum, on the other hand, has given a full-throated endorsement of returning film incentives to the state.

Florida, he said, “doesn’t have to look any further than our neighbor to the north, the state of Georgia, to see the amazing impact, financially, that the film industry can have on a state. Black Panther alone meant some $73 million of direct investment in the state of Georgia through its production. Total, all told over the year, $9 billion of this industry helping to raise the economy of the state of Georgia, and I want that money right back here in the state of Florida. Which is why we must bring back these film incentives. We’re talking about the future of the state of Florida.”
That means there has never been more money available to create content. We believe that content creation should be done in Florida, creating jobs for Floridians, pumping new money into our economy, and showing off our state on the large, small and mobile screen.” There has never bene more content available to viewers than there is today. The focus has been on further educating legislators and candidates so they understand the challenges and opportunities for the industry in Florida. The industry has spent considerable time over the last six months communicating with current legislators and candidates. Film Florida doesn’t endorse candidates, but Lux noted that “with the upcoming elections, there is an opportunity for our industry.
The state’s once-vibrant film industry was left for dead in 2016 after the Florida branch of Americans for Prosperity, the lobbying group backed by the ultra-conservative Koch brothers that’s ideologically opposed to all forms of incentives that target specific industries, convinced state legislators to scrap the film incentives program.
“We were always No. Now we’re not in the top 20.” “Everyone wanted to come to Florida to film. 3,” a local casting director lamented. Once dubbed “Hollywood East,” Florida’s film commission boasted in 2006 that the state was “the third-largest film-making state in the nation” – behind only California and New York.
Last month, without quoting him directly, the Tampa Bay Times noted that when he was asked between campaign stops if he supports tax incentives to recruit businesses to Florida, including tax breaks for producers making movies in the state, he responded with a nebulous, “Maybe, but it depends on the situation.” DeSantis’ campaign did not respond to Deadline's requests for comment. DeSantis, meanwhile, largely has remained mum on the issue.
Where do they stand? Democratic candidate Andrew Gillum said ‘Yes.’ Republican candidate Ron DeSantis had no comment. No support from our state Legislature. The article states that Channel 9 asked each one whether they plan to bring film back to the Sunshine State. No support from the outgoing Florida governor [Rick Scott, who is running for U.S. But how about the two gubernatorial candidates on the ballot in November? ‘Nuf said?'” “We all know the answer, of course,” COMPASS noted. Senate]. In a posting on its website, COMPASS pointed to a recent report by a local TV station that asked the two gubernatorial candidates why more film and TV productions aren’t being filmed in Florida. This stark difference between Gillum and DeSantis didn't go unnoticed by the Congress of Motion Picture Associations of Florida, a trade organization representing film and TV workers and industry-related businesses in the state. “No tax credits.
“Maybe next time around, but the next governor is going to be faced with a very conservative House, and there’s no chance there.” But even if Gillum wins and keeps his promise to fight for new film incentives, he’ll be facing a steep uphill battle with the Legislature, especially in the state’s conservative House of Representatives. “The industry would love to be back in Florida, but right now there’s no pathway,” an industry source told Deadline.
He added: "In order to change the current state of the industry in Florida, we look to the new Legislative Leadership in Tallahassee to have an open mind, and be willing to consider options that first and foremost helps the entire state, and second, sends a signal to the industry in Florida, the United States, and the world, that Florida is open for business and competing for high wage jobs in the film, television and digital media industry."” />
Launched on July 1, 2010, the state’s film tax credits ended on June 30, 2016. The Florida Legislature initially had allocated $242 million in tax credits for the program then added an additional $12 million in 2011 and another $42 million in 2012 for a total of $296 million – less than California spends in one year on film incentives. After that, however, the state’s Republican-dominated House of Representatives refused to allocate any more money for the program.
But industry sources in the Sunshine State clearly are pinning their hopes on Gillum, who has declared, “When I’m governor, we’re going to bring film tax credits back.” It’s a tight race, and whoever wins – Democrat Andrew Gillum or Republican Ron DeSantis – will have to deal with a Republican-dominated Legislature that’s adamantly opposed to film incentives. The fate of Florida’s film industry, decimated two years ago by the elimination of the state’s film incentives program, might hang on the outcome of next week’s gubernatorial contest.
“Without a funded state-wide program to help bring projects and companies to our state, Florida has lost more than 60 major film and television projects that would have spent over $1 billion in Florida,” said John Lux, executive director of Film Florida, a non-partisan trade association that promotes the state’s entertainment industry. In addition, those projects would have also used more than 160,000 hotel room nights state-wide.” “That’s more than $1 billion directly in the pockets of Florida residents and companies, and more than 87,000 cast and crew jobs.

Daniel Caesar – Who Hurt You? Lyrics

[Verse 1]
Take me back to Georgia, back to Atlanta
Funny how present turns past
I might fly Priscilla out just for ‘Bana
So mesmerized by that ass
The way she moves it I can tell that she loves me
Nigga can’t help but to touch
Smack it ’round a bit then sip on some bubbly
Hope I’m not doing too much
[Refrain]
Strange new addictions picked up on the road
Changed my opinions and changed up my flows
Changed my approach, no more loving these hoes
And when it rains it pours, yeah
[Pre-Chorus]
You make me feel so primal
That’s what I am, I’m just a man
[Chorus: Daniel Caesar & T-Pain]
Take that pussy, drop it in my lap
I love it when you move like that
Now turn around and throw it back, it back, it back
Oh-no-no-no-no-oh
[Verse 2]
Strippers out in Vegas, New Orleans too
Booties just don’t shake like Priscilla’s do
Follies on a Tuesday, not one but two
Not one stack but two
Look at all the cash I blew
Strippers out in Vegas, New Orleans too
Booties just don’t shake like Priscilla’s do
Follies on a Tuesday, not one but two
Not one stack but two
Look at all the cash I blew
[Refrain]
Strange new addictions picked up on the road
Changed my opinions and changed up my flows
Changed my approach, no more loving these hoes
And when it rains it pours, yeah
[Pre-Chorus]
You make me feel so primal
That’s what I am, I’m just a man
[Chorus]
Take that pussy, drop it in my lap
I love it when you move like that
Now turn around and throw it back, it back, it back

Luke Combs – I Got Away With You lyrics

[Verse 1]
Well I got caught in Panama City
Tryin’ to buy some beer for some Georgia girls
And I got wore out by my daddy
For stealin’ cigarettes from the Smokes and More
And all my friends would get away
Seems I’d get caught, plain as day
I took the blame for every little thing
[Chorus]
But I got away with you
And somehow I still ain’t been found out
It’s a crazy truth
Like I strolled out the gates of Alcatraz
And I walked in the Louvre
Now the Mona Lisa’s hanging in my house
I bust out of Buckingham with the crown jewels
And I got away with you
[Verse 2]
Well lookin’ like you do
On its damn own, should be a crime
Let a lonely fool like me
Hand in hand with you, should be doin’ time
But here we are runnin’ free
Guess someone turned the other cheek
‘Cause there ain’t no blue lights in the rear-view
[Chorus]
Yes, I got away with you
And somehow I still ain’t been found out
It’s a crazy truth
Like I strolled out the gates of Alcatraz
And I walked in the Louvre
Now the Mona Lisa’s hanging in my house
I bust out of Buckingham with the crown jewels
And I got away with you
[Bridge]
I’ll take it all, the fails, the falls
The county jails and one phone calls
I’d do it all again if I had to
[Chorus]
‘Cause I got away with you
Somehow girl, I still ain’t been found out
It’s a crazy truth
Like I strolled out the gates of Alcatraz
And I walked in the Louvre
Now the Mona Lisa’s hanging in my house
I bust out of Buckingham with the crown jewels
And I got away with you
When I got away with you
Yeah, I got away with you

Cold hearted – Bryce Fox lyrics

Lyrics Bryce Fox – Cold hearted

It’s somewhere north of Florida
A little west of Georgia
At my best, you’re not impressed
‘Cause I’m a loser
Both my wings are frozen, cold like Minnesota
Pinned between the boulders with the rest.(cold hearted)

But I try, I try not to need you
Like you need me
And I try, and I try not to need you
Like you need me.

I’m sick and tired of living in LA
Where the sun is out but there’s so much shade
I need a place to go with the seasons
Where no one out has a reason to be coldhearted
To be coldhearted.

You like hills and yoga
I like hanging over
You’re more like Kim and I’m too nice to be your Kanye
Stand up like a soldier versuri-lyrics.info
But I’m a rock & roller
I take my rage and throw the flames into the water.

I’m way too cold to hold ya
Call me when it’s over
I realized I’m just as frozen as the rest.

I’m sick and tired of living in LA
Where the sun is out but there’s so much shade
I need a place to go with the seasons
Where no one out has a reason to be coldhearted
To be coldhearteddd.

Tracy Byrd – Watermelon Crawl

I was drivin’ through Georgia in late July
On a day hot enough to make the devil sigh
I saw a homemade sign writtin’ in red
Rhine county watermelon festival ahead

Well, I wasn’t in a hurry so I slowed down
Took a two lane road to a one horse town
There was a party goin’ on when I got there
I heard a welcome speech from a small town mayor

He said we got a hundred gallons of sweet red wine
Made from the biggest watermelons on the vine
Help yourself to some, but obey the law if you drink
Don’t drive do the watermelon crawl

When the band started playin the watermelon queen
Said let me show you somethin’ that you ain’t ever seen
She grabbed me by the arm said come on lets go
She dipped down, spun around, and do-ce-doed

She rocked back on her heels dropped down to her knees
She craweled across the floor and jumped back to her feet
She wiggled and she giggled and be all you ever saw
She said this is how you do the watermelon crawl

He said we got a hundred gallons of sweet red wine
Made from the biggest watermelons on the vine
Help yourself to some, but obey the law if you drink
Don’t drive do the watermelon crawl

If your ever down in georgia around about july
If you ain’t in a hurry then you aw to stop by
I can guarantee that you’re goin have a ball
Learnin’ how to do the watermelon crawl

He said we got a hundred gallons of sweet red wine
Made from the biggest watermelons on the vine
Help yourself to some, but obey the law if you drink
Don’t drive do the watermelon crawl

Yeah do the watermelon crawl
Have fun you all
Do the watermelon crawl

Bobbie Gentry – Fancy

"Well, I remember it all very well lookin’ back
It was the summer that I turned eighteen.
We lived in a one-room, run down shack
On the outskirts of New Orleans.

We didn’t have money for food or rent
To say the least we was hard-pressed
When Momma spent every last penny we had
To buy me a dancin’ dress.

Well, Momma washed and combed and curled my hair,
Then she painted my eyes and lips.
Then I stepped into the satin dancin’ dress.
It had a split in the side clean up to my hips.

It was red, velvet-trimmed, and it fit me good
And standin’ back from the lookin’ glass
Was a woman
Where a half grown kid had stood.

She said, "Here’s your last chance, Fancy, don’t let me down!
Here’s your last chance, Fancy, don’t let me down."

Momma dabbed a little bit of perfume
On my neck and she kissed my cheek
Then I saw the tears welling up
In her troubled eyes as she started to speak

She looked at our pitiful shack and then
She looked at me and took a ragged breath
She said, Your Pa’s runned off, and I’m real sick
And the baby’s gonna starve to death.

She handed me a heart-shaped locket that said
"To thine own self be true"
And I shivered as I watched a roach crawl across
The toe of my high-healed shoe

It sounded like somebody else was talkin’
Askin’, "Momma what do I do?"
She said, "Just be nice to the gentlemen, Fancy.
They’ll be nice to you."

She said, "Here’s your last chance, Fancy, don’t let me down!
Here’s your last chance, Fancy, don’t let me down.
God forgive me for what I do,
But if you want out girl it’s up to you
Now don’t let me down,
Now get on out, you better start sleepin’ uptown."

That was the last time I saw my momma
When I left that rickety shack
The welfare people came and took the baby.
Momma died and I ain’t been back.

But the wheels of fate had started to turn
And for me there was no other way out.
It wasn’t very long after that I knew exactly
What my momma was talkin’ ’bout.

I knew what I had to do.
Then I made myself this solemn vow:
I’s gonna to be a lady someday
Though I didn’t know when or how.

But I couldn’t see spendin’ the rest of my life
With my head hung down in shame.
You know I mighta been born just plain white trash.
But Fancy was my name.

"Here’s your last chance, Fancy, don’t let me down!
Here’s your one chance, Fancy, don’t let me down.

Wasn’t long after that a benevolent man
Took me in off the streets
One week later I was pourin’ his tea
In a five roomed penthouse suite.

Charmed a king, a congressman
And an occasional aristocrat
And I got me an elegant Georgia mansion
And a New York townhouse flat.

Now I ain’t done bad

Now in this world there’s a lot of self-righteous
Hypocrites who call me bad.
They criticize Momma for turning me out
No matter how little we had.

Though haven’t had to worry ’bout nothin’
Now for nigh on fifteen years
But I can still hear the desperation
In my poor mommas voice ringin’ in my ears.

"Here’s your last chance, Fancy, don’t let me down!
Oh, here’s your last chance, Fancy, don’t let me down.
God forgive me for what I do,
But if you want out well it’s up to you.
Now your mama’s helping you move uptown."

Thomas Rhett – American Spirit

[Verse 1]
Ridin’ down red dirt
Drivin’ in a white truck
Lookin’ at a pretty blue sky
Tired eyed kids playin’ in a sprinkler
Daddy drinkin’ cold bud light
Talk about a big life
In a small town, ain’t got a lot
But we sure found what we were looking for
Georgia red lipstick, tied white tanktop
Levi denim blue eyes
Bottle rockets blowin’ up
Hot dogs servin’ up
It ain’t even fourth of july
That’s just how it is ’round here and we love it
We wouldn’t trade it all in for nothin’ more

[Chorus]
Ohhh
It’s in the song, baby can’t you feel it
Ohhh
And if you can’t baby, listen to the lyrics
It’s friday night freedom
Football game
It’s proud of where you from
Its your last name
It’s thirteen stripes and fifty stars [in the wind?]
So hold up your beer and holler if you hear it
That American spirit

[verse 2]
Old red six string, white piece of paper
Scribbled down, lovin’ blue ink
Sweet pretty girl, sweet southern melody
Sweep her right off of her feet
It’s a preacher, it’s a [?]
It’s a ring on a finger and bible
[and a title, on a fixer up house?]

[Chorus x2]
Ohhh
It’s in the song, baby can’t you feel it
Ohhh
And if you can’t baby, listen to the lyrics
It’s friday night freedom
Football game
It’s proud of where you from
It’s your last name
It’s thirteen stripes and fifty stars [in the wind?]
So hold up your beer and holler if you hear it
That American spirit

[Outro]
Ridin’ down red dirt
Drivin’ in a white truck
Lookin’ at a pretty blue sky

Brook Benton – Rainy Night In Georgia

Hoverin’ by my suitcase
Tryin’ to find a warm place to spend the night
A heavy rain a fallin’
Seems I hear your voice callin’
"It’s all right"
A rainy night in Georgia
A rainy night in Georgia
I believe it’s rainin’ all over the world
Neon signs a flashin’
Taxi cabs and busses passin’ through the night
The distant moanin’ of a train
Seems to play a sad refrain to the night
A rainy night in Georgia
A rainy night in Georgia
I believe it’s rainin’ all over the world
How many times I’ve wondered
It still comes out the same
No matter how you look at it, think of it
You just got to do your own thing
I find me a place in a box car
So I take out my guitar to pass some time
Late at night when it’s hard to rest
I hold your picture to my chest
And I’m all right
A rainy night in Georgia
A rainy night in Georgia
I believe it’s rainin’ all over the world

Gladys Knight & The Pips – Midnight Train To Georgia

L.A. proved too much for the man
(Too much for the man, he couldn’t make it)
So he’s leaving a life he’s come to know, ooh
(He said he’s going)
He said he’s going back to find
(Going back to find)
Ooh, what’s left of his world
The world he left behind not so long ago

He’s leaving
(Leaving)
On that midnight train to Georgia, yeah
(Leaving on the midnight train)
Said he’s going back
(Going back to find)
To a simpler place and time, oh yes he is
(Whenever he takes that ride, guess who’s gonna be right by his side)
I’ll be with him
(I know you will)
On that midnight train to Georgia
(Leaving on a midnight train to Georgia, woo woo)
I’d rather live in his world
(Live in his world)
Than live without him in mine
(Her world is his, his and hers alone)

He kept dreaming
(Dreaming)
Ooh, that some day he’d be a star
(A superstar, but he didn’t get far)
But he sure found out the hard way
That dreams don’t always come true, oh no, uh uh
(Dreams don’t always come true, uh uh, no, uh uh)
So he pawned down his hopes
(Woo, woo, woo-woo)
And even sold his old car
(Woo, woo, woo-woo)
Bought a one way ticket back to the life he once knew
Oh yes he did, he said he would

Oh-oh, he’s leaving
(Leaving)
On that midnight train to Georgia, yeah
(Leaving on a midnight train)
Said he’s going back to find, ooh
(Going back to find)
A simpler place and time, ooh, yeah
(Whenever he takes that ride, guess who’s gonna be right by his side)
I’m gonna be with him
(I know you will)
On that midnight train to Georgia
(Leaving on a midnight train to Georgia, woo woo)
I’d rather live in his world
(Live in his world)
Than live without him in mine
(Her world is his, his and hers alone)

Ooh, he’s leaving
(Leaving)
On the midnight train to Georgia, yeah, ooh y’all
(Leaving on the midnight train)
Said he’s going back to find
(Going back to find)
Ooh, a simpler place and time, ooh y’all, uh-huh
(Whenever he takes that ride, guess who’s gonna be right by his side)
I’ve got to be with him
(I know you will)
On that midnight train to Georgia
(Leaving on a midnight train to Georgia, woo woo)
I’d rather live in his world
(Live in his world)
Than live without him in mine
(Her world is his, his and hers alone)

For love, gonna board the midnight train to ride
For love, gonna board, gotta board the midnight train to go
For love, gonna board, uh huh, the midnight train to go
My world, his world, our world, mine and his alone
My world, his world, our world, mine and his alone
I got to go
I got to go
I got to go, hey
I got to go
I got to go
My world, his world, my man, his girl
I got to go
I got to go, oh
I got to go
My world, his world, our world, his girl

Usher – Wait For It Lyrics

[Intro]
Wait for it, wait for it
Wait for it, wait for it
Wait for it, wait for it
Wait for it, wait for it

[Verse 1]
Theodosia writes me a letter every day
I’m keeping the bed warm while her husband is away
He’s on the British side in Georgia
He’s trying to keep the colonies in line
Well he can keep all of Georgia
Theodosia, she’s mine

[Chorus 1]
Love don’t discriminate
Between the sinners and the saints
It takes and it takes and it takes
And we keep lovin’ anyway
We laugh and we cry and we break
And we make our mistakes
And if there’s a reason I’m by her side
When so many have tried
I’m willing to wait for it
Then, I’m willing to wait for it

[Verse 2]
My grandfather was a fire and brimstone preacher, preacher, preacher, preacher
But there are things that the homilies and hymns won’t teach ya, teach ya, teach ya, teach ya
My mother was a genius, genius, my father commanded respect, respect
When they died they left no instructions, just a legacy to protect

[Chorus 2]
Death don’t discriminate
Between the sinners and the saints
It takes and it takes and it takes
Yeah, we keep living anyway
We rise and we fall and we break
And we make our mistakes
And if there’s a reason I’m still alive
When everyone who loves me has died
I’m willing to wait for it
Then I’m willing to wait for it, wait for it, wait for it…

[Bridge]
(Wait for it, wait for it
Wait for it, wait for it)
I am the one thing in life I can control
(Wait for it, wait for it
Wait for it, wait for it)
I am inimitable, I am original
(Wait for it, wait for it
Wait for it, wait for it)
I’m not falling behind or running late
(Wait for it, wait for it
Wait for it, wait for it)
I am not standing still, I am lying in wait
(Wait for it, wait for it
Wait for it, wait for it)
Everyone faces an endless uphill climb
You got something to prove, you got nothing to lose
Everyone’s pace is relentless, you waste no time, time
What is it like in his shoes?

[Chorus 3]
Life don’t discriminate
Between the sinners and the saints
Taking me, taking me, taking…
And we keep living anyway
We rise and we fall and we break
And we make our mistakes
But I know there’s a reason I’m alive
So many have died
And I’m still waiting for it
I’m willing to wait for it

[Chorus 2]
Life don’t discriminate
Between the sinners
And the saints
It takes and it takes and it takes
And we keep living anyway
We rise and we fall and we break
And we make our mistakes
And if there’s a reason I’m still alive
When everyone who loves me has died
I’m willing to wait for it (Yes I am)
I’m willing to wait for it, wait for it, wait for it

[Outro]
I’m willing to wait for it
I’m willing to wait for it, wait for it, wait for it
I’m willing to wait for it
I’m willing to wait for it, wait for it, wait for it
I’m willing to wait for it
I’m willing to wait for it, wait for it, wait for it
I’m willing to wait for it
I’m willing to wait for it, wait for it, wait for it

Young Jeezy – Bout That (feat. Lil Wayne)

I put them O’s in the microwave but you ain’t ’bout that there
Talk a whole brick of white today but you ain’t ’bout that there
Got a that Muller on my wrist today but you ain’t ’bout that there
Don’t make me fuck your bitch today ’cause you ain’t ’bout that there

He ain’t ’bout that, he ain’t ’bout that there
He ain’t ’bout that, he ain’t ’bout that there
He ain’t ’bout that, he ain’t ’bout that there
He ain’t ’bout that, he ain’t ’bout that there

Start at the hammer I ain’t talking ’bout astrology
For any pussy doubted, bitch you owe me an apology
Only talkin’ ’bout that trappin’ shit, I opened up the door for that
I could’ve stopped at 101 tell me who shit coming close to that
But you know how the saying goes how I cut the tape make a wish
Call your clientele say I’m ’bout to make your favorite dish
My wrists can’t keep my arms close, yeah I’m talkin’ Arnold Schwarzenegger
Dropped the mixtapes, changed the game
Whoever thought it’d be a Georgia nigga
Jumped off the porch but I landed on my feet
It’s real in the field when and bought a set of cleats
Fuck them silly ass nigga, yeah the crib like Disneyland
Made chops since I started, guess I’ve been a busy man

I put them O’s in the microwave but you ain’t ’bout that there
Talk a whole brick of white today but you ain’t ’bout that there
Got a that Muller on my wrist today but you ain’t ’bout that there
Don’t make me fuck your bitch today ’cause you ain’t ’bout that there

He ain’t ’bout that, he ain’t ’bout that there
He ain’t ’bout that, he ain’t ’bout that there
He ain’t ’bout that, he ain’t ’bout that there
He ain’t ’bout that, he ain’t ’bout that there

Jumped off the porch at eleven, bitch I been ’bout it
I’m gang gang I been solid
Go Bin Laden on anybody
Talkin’ all that shit and we gon’ have to talk to you in private
What block you in we gon’ spin around it
Leave dead bodies, fuck them zombies, goddamn
You ain’t ’bout that lif, e not the combat life
Take the cops advice and don’t stop at lights
Oh God I want it all, night flight
On the wall like flies
And I ball like Mike
You on the side like Spike, goddamn
Wearing a handkerchief
All ’bout this bangin’ shit
We breakin’ down cocaine and shit
You better not be explaining shit
She say she ’bout that freaky shit
She love me if I anchor shit
We moving slow and ducking quick
You ain’t about the gangster shit, goddamn

I put them O’s in the microwave but you ain’t ’bout that there
Talk a whole brick of white today but you ain’t ’bout that there
Got a that Muller on my wrist today but you ain’t ’bout that there
Don’t make me fuck your bitch today ’cause you ain’t ’bout that there

He ain’t ’bout that, he ain’t ’bout that there
He ain’t ’bout that, he ain’t ’bout that there
He ain’t ’bout that, he ain’t ’bout that there
He ain’t ’bout that, he ain’t ’bout that there

Bitch I’m still winning, yeah it’s like I got some trick tracks
And if that pussy so and so I don’t hit that bitch twice
You heard about what’s-her-name, ran off on the plug right?
Caught him and they opened up his top like a Bud Lite
Posted in the spot look like a zebra with these damn stripes
Hopped out the Porsche like fuck the Source
I still didn’t get them five mics
If ya find a nigga better, if ya let a nigga know
Yeah, I hear the shit they talking, ain’t like the nigga Snow
Nigga I can make a hustle and I can make it rapping
On the Gram with a pic, now that’s a mean caption
Now what you know about that 36
I can make it double hoe
They hate you when you ballin’
They don’t see you when you struggle tho

I put them O’s in the microwave but you ain’t ’bout that there
Talk a whole brick of white today but you ain’t ’bout that there
Got a that Muller on my wrist today but you ain’t ’bout that there
Don’t make me fuck your bitch today ’cause you ain’t ’bout that there

He ain’t ’bout that, he ain’t ’bout that there
He ain’t ’bout that, he ain’t ’bout that there
He ain’t ’bout that, he ain’t ’bout that there
He ain’t ’bout that, he ain’t ’bout that there

Spillage Village – Can’t Call It

[Refrain: EarthGang]
Can’t call it, can’t call it
I never came from deep pockets
Why can’t I make a deposit?
Can’t call it, uh, can’t call it
Yeah, can’t call it, I can’t call it
I never came from deep pockets
Why can’t I make a deposit?
Can’t call it, yeah, I can’t call it

[Hook: J. Cole]
Oh, I had so many days of crying
Oh, I had so many days of pain
Have you ever been as sad as I am?
Lord, I ask if anything would change?
I can see the future that we’re heading
I would say it’s better not to tell
If it’s anything like this in Heaven
Maybe I’d be better off in hell
(Better off in hell)

[Verse 1]
Miseducated, unemployed
Get deployed in a week
Them snatch my body and my soul was exploited for free
Now occupations getting sold, shipped and soul overseas
Can’t trust nobody like they know to make sure I’m gone eat
All I see is distractions, distractions
My life just keep flashing and I’m flashing blue lights
Get behind you and your little blood pressure start to climate up
My niggas be speaking and spirit schooling me on time
And I went to sleep thinking them caves with spiders on my eyelids
So what you know ’bout shining?
Lord I’ve been dancing for days, Hell I’m still shaking off slave
Beneath and dipped in diamonds
She claim my beats [?] then I can’t leave her for one moment
Really I be [?]
Of life and I still be trying to make sense of that jibber jabber
You right, I can tie this ’round my neck, floating up that corporate ladder
The weather, the lever matter, or realistic I’d rather be up misfed
We get it crackin’, we [?] mechanic actions
But I can’t call it

[Hook: J. Cole]
Oh, I had so many days of crying
Oh, I had so many days of pain
Have you ever been as sad as I am?
Lord, I ask if anything would change?
I can see the future that we’re heading
I would say it’s better not to tell
If it’s anything like this in Heaven
Maybe I’d be better off in hell
(Better off in hell)

[Verse 2: Bas]
Heavy duty, Hell on Earth
We’ve been feeling Heavens duties
Even with these demons on us
Journey deep into atonement
Through the edges of my mind
I cannot give you my mind state
That shit like going on blind dates
I don’t know how that bitch look
I could’ve been took
I’m keeping the vine fate
Follow the lines straight, and narrow
Never been one of my fine traits
I just been living the road, I don’t got no home
I cannot define safe, ’rounding the bases I live in the times
Few of my niggas is running it with me
We’ve been surviving and keeping alive
Thank you God, God is great
Give me a pond, now lakes a [?]
Look at the water inside your eyes
You have been stuck in a blind state
Most of us out here just nickel and dime
Cook up a trip of the crime rate
But that’s by design and we never snooze
Now I’m so awake, come step in my shoes nigga

[Refrain: EarthGang]
Can’t call it, can’t call it
I never came from deep pockets
Why can’t I make a deposit?
Can’t call it, uh, can’t call it
Yeah, can’t call it, I can’t call it
I never came from deep pockets
Why can’t I make a deposit?
Can’t call it, yeah, I can’t call it

[Hook: J. Cole]
I can see the future that we’re heading
I would say it’s better not to tell
If it’s anything like this in Heaven
Maybe I’d be better off in hell
(Better off in hell)

[Verse 3]
So far I done, so far I done
So far I done managed to take advantage
I set a goal and of course it didn’t take off like how I planned it
Granted I want the globe and the planet where my hands is
Granted, I’m on my toes and I’m sick of standing
Sick of the bicker back and forth
The lifted pitch inside your voice
Cause I can’t afford a picket fence and a Porsche
If I get in a pickle, I pull the pistol out my shorts
Payback on the pussy boy, so give me mines and give me yours
Give me time and let me finish the design of method
Any nigga lying, I step it
Point me in the wrong direction, digging in the mind connecting
Everything I ever seen, ever done, never was trying to set the gas in the fire
I prepped it
Walking in shit that I stepped in

[Hook: J. Cole]
Oh, I had so many days of crying
Oh, I had so many days of pain
Have you ever been as sad as I am?
Lord, I ask if anything would change?
I can see the future that we’re heading
I would say it’s better not to tell
If it’s anything like this in Heaven
Maybe I’d be better off in hell
(Better off in hell)

[Verse 4]
Activated (activated)
Native language, middle finger
How ironic? (how ironic? how ironic?)
What it take to get it when you know you got it?
How you operating when you know your calling?
Glad he raised me cause I know my papa wasn’t sober often
I ain’t judging, I get high
Now I’m the best to break out and lead 285
Sticking my chest out, putting my deuce up
Loosing respect for the one’s you like
Back in Georgia we whip it slow
Get pulled over and you could die
Fuck the bullshit, fuck the cool shit
Grab the burner, let’s use our rights
Let’s get rid of these fools tonight
What a decision, what a commitment, what a [?] when you decide
Pop the moonroof, ain’t your voodoo
Hit the crib, get danky coo coo
Certified I could lead the new school
Word to Tribe, whole team is Zulu

[Hook: J. Cole]
Oh, I had so many days of crying
Oh, I had so many days of pain
Have you ever been as sad as I am?
Lord, I ask if anything would change?
I can see the future that we’re heading
I would say it’s better not to tell
If it’s anything like this in Heaven
Maybe I’d be better off in hell
(Better off in hell)

Lydia – Georgia letras

[Verse One]
You got a couple dollars in your pocket
It’s 10 o’clock in the morning
Well, do you remember what you’re talking?
Well alright, no problem

[Hook]
Yeah
When it goes flying on by
Yeah
I remember back when I

[Chorus]
When I had Georgia on my mind but I let her go
Back when we were trying to find somewhere we could rest our bones
The fact that I don’t see no home, yeah, I’ve been laying low
Whatever kept me up those nights, I’ll never know
Yeah, that’s how it goes

[Verse Two]
I don’t want no stories
Come on at me like you always
You were looking kind of lonely
Well alright, I’m sorry

[Hook]
Yeah
Moving all around in my mind
Yeah
And back when I, yeah back when I

[Chorus]
When I had Georgia on my mind but I let her go
Back when we were trying to find somewhere we could rest our bones
The fact that I don’t see no home, yeah, I’ve been laying low
Whatever kept me up those nights, I’ll never know
Yeah, that’s how it goes

[Speaking/Bridge]
(What time is it?
It’s a little after six
After six? Oh, I missed my bus again
Oh, what’s one more day?
Nothing to you
You know, I’ve got a funny feeling I’m going around and around
Maybe I’m on a merry-go-round
Climb on down.)

[Chorus]
When I had Georgia on my mind but I let her go
Back when we were trying to find somewhere we could rest our bones
The fact that I don’t see no home, yeah, I’ve been laying low
Whatever kept me up those nights, I’ll never know
Yeah, that’s how it goes

[Outro]
When I had Georgia on my mind but I let her go
Back when we were trying to find somewhere we could rest our bones
Yeah, that’s how it goes
